New Video Posted - "LIvestreaming from Scratch Part 6 - ATEM Mini Pro!"

I've posted a new video on the YouTube Channel "Happy Place Home Studio", the sixth of seven planned chapters of this series. The ATEM Mini Pro is a really cool device for connecting multiple cameras and other computers via HDMI, routing them all through a single USB port on your computer for livestreaming and recording.   You'll find the video on the channel here: https://youtu.be/UHyf6m2TERc Many livestreams only need one camera, but for your audience the more the merrier! Enjoy!
A 3-week break for some time in Hawaii was great and much needed after a year of Covid-19, but feels like it cost me some momentum on HPHS.    Getting back into the swing takes a little time but I'm getting there!    Happy Place Home Studio for me is a journey that includes re-visiting some modern online disciplines that I never fully dealt with in my business lift - such as SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and what it takes to publicize a thing online.   Of course, HPHS is not a business, and I'm really just trying to let people know it's there!    I think a lot of people have home  studios, and are eager to share information.  Of course, HPHS is one of dozens of channels doing very similar things.   Fortunately, the subject area is so vast that there's room for all. Another re-visit of the past I'm really enjoying right now is digging out my TEAC A4010SL reel to reel tape recorder, circa 1970.   It's over 50 y...
This week saw the launch of  Happy Place Home Studio!   It was a "soft" launch, meaning I built my store in the middle of the desert and did not advertise  it.     But I've already hit double digits on subscribers (lol). Putting together a channel with the intention of drawing people to it is a very interesting process - at least the little bit of it I'm doing so far.   HPHS is not a business to me and never will be, it's a hobby - but a lot of people certainly make their living with YouTube channels.  Many do EXTREMELY well.     This has never been my forte in business efforts, but it is something I should have paid a lot more attention to.    I used a site called "Fiverr" to find someone to help me with "SEO", or Search Engine Optimization.   This is the science of using the right "keywords" ("tags") and other means to cajole the search engines to "put you at the top of the list" when someone looks up...
This is my introductory post to the blog, made under the duress of needing an introductory post! Getting very close to launching Happy Place Home Studio, which is a YouTube channel for people that have home music studios.   As my studio is my hobby and "you guessed it) one of my happy places, I know a lot of other folks feel the same way about their studios, and like me can use a source of information and perhaps a place to share their own home studio. I have many projects planned for HPHS, including tracking my expansion project for my own home studio.
